shhesh! Â The male owner walked past everyone and was talking on the phone to perhaps a pickup order - Â oblivious to everyone around him all night.
The female owner and hostess were so flustered (it was 5:30pm on a Friday & literally they had 3 open tables - but we had to wait 7 minutes unti they cleaned them)  The hostess and female owner were talking to e/o in a way that even seemed they were annoyed the other was talking.  Our food was delivered by a gentleman from the kitchen who was only slightly more cheery than our waitress - but at least he asked if we needed anything else. The "service" = subpar  This last time we ate we didn't wait long at all - it was just mainly our  waitress - who seemed extremely bored to be there and obviously didn't care about us - never checking on us once until we needed to pay.  (never been a fan of their coleslaw so I can't comment on it, as I prefer a more KFC mayo-ish slaw) "Good" Criss cut fries still yummy, bread still yummy. so for me that's a 25% ratio of good and my bf is 50%.= not enough to take a chance on it.  My bf has tried bluegill and cod & had 1 "good" meal, 1 "okay" meal and 2 "not good".  I've had perch all 4 times and only once was it allllmost like it used to be (flaky, flavorful, melt in your mouth).  The Cod however is mostly flavorless as the batter can be just as flavorless  (again hit or miss) - it's Clearly NOT THE SAME!  We've gone 4 times since the change in ownership hoping the new owners would find thier way back - and we are done trying. "Major Changes" The fish fry itself is now hit or miss. Can live with both of these as the portions are always generous. "Minor Changes" The Walleye, Bluegill and Perch are no longer all you can eat and the yummy homemade rye bread is down from 2 to 1 piece.
